Rib tires 18x8.50-8 are used on both riding and walking lawn mowers as well as golf carts.  Rib tires won't help you climb a hill but the rib tread can keep you from sliding sideways down a hill.

Rib tires are a smooth rolling turf tire with a little traction.  Rib tires have more traction then our smooth tires but less traction then our C165, Turf  Tech or 769 turf tires which you can see by using the links on the left side of this page.
